It really lives up with its name. I have a great time during my stay in Owen college 。
I am sherry , I come from jiang xi. I was a student in Owen college from 3rd June 2009 --16th August2009. I stayed there only for one session. I was on vacation during the above mentioned period, so after that I have to go back to work.
I got the information of the school from the website by chance. I was attracted and decided to pay a visit to Owen College first. There I met a very gentle and beautiful staff, her name is Catherine she introduced me the courses in Owen and showed me around in the building. I remember I had a lot of questions on that day, because I didn't have any confident about the school. I worried about the food, the management, the qualities of the teachers, but Catherine answered and explained all my questions very patiently and clearly. I enjoy talking with her. Without her, may be I would miss this valuable and wonderful experience. Thank you Catherine, you have done a good job.
Before I came to Owen had a suspicion attitude, because I didn’t know much about this school. But now I can tell you, I really enjoy my stay there. I can say it is a very successful school. It surprises me in many ways. Everything there is so well organized, moreover I have to praise for the efficiency of all the staffs and the cleanliness of the whole building. Everything included the meals runs on schedule. The school management is impeccable. The food is ok for me too.
It is wonderful that the presentation photos can be posted on to the school website in about one hour's time. This is what I have never imagine before, I am so happy that I could have the pictures right after dinner, such efficiency really surprise me.
Most of the teachers and all the staffs in Owen college are very friendly and courtesy. All the topics of the courses are useful, practical and motivated. It really impresses me so much. The most impressive thing to me is making a speech outside the school plaza. It really scared me at first, but it turned out to be all right.
Seth was my skill teacher, he has a wide range of knowledge, he taught me a lot of things. From him, I could learn what is real world English. I also like the pronunciation class, in which I could learn what my weakness is. I appreciate him very much.
Frank and Pasha are also my favorite teachers, they have a sense of humor, you can have a lot of fun while staying with them. Here I need to praise pasha again; he is very professional and always devoted to his job. Even there is one or two students in the classroom he could still do a good job. pasha I enjoyed your class very much.
On the whole, I have gained a lot in Owen I knew many new friends; I have learned a lot of valuable things from different teachers who came from different countries. The most important is I have learned various method of learning from the Owen teachers; I will make use of what I have learned in the future. I think it will help me a lot.
Before I came here, my friends always asked me how much the tuition fee is, I told them it is about 3500 Yuan for two one month not included meal, accommodation quite expensive. But when I returned home, I completely changed my words, I told them it was not expensive, it worth more than that, because there are a wide range of activities each day, The staffs started to serve you from 8:00am till 8:30 pm, They are working hard, always helpful Owen is really an unique and successful school, it can provide you an English speaking environment. It really lives up with its name. I have a great time during my stay in Owen. Thank you to all my teachers and staffs.
