1. Usually all schools, including Buckland in China need most of their teachers on September 1st (the begining of one school year). Usually Buckalnd provides one training period for our new teachers from July 5 to 9, and 4 training periods from August 10 to 31. We highly recommend that you arrive in Buckland on July 1-5 or August 8-28 and join in one of our training courses before you start to teach.

2. The second best time to come to china is Feb. 15th-28th. The Spring semester usually starts Feb. 25--March 1.

3. Other requirements are for a short-term teaching please give us two weeks before you plan to start, so we can make special arrangements for you. Teachers are needed all year around and throughout China.

4. Please do not arrive during the Chinese Spring Festival, All staff and teachers in Buckland have a holiday during this time. The Chinese Spring Festival is from Feb. 5 to 10 in 2008, and from Jan. 24 to Feb. 2 in 2009.
